A unique side chair version of our South Yuba Rocking Chair, this design required some additional engineering to make it successful. The secret to the perfect design, we discovered, was to adjust the back by several degrees, bringing it forward to accommodate a comfortable position. This adjustment allowed us to remove the arm rests, creating a lovely handcrafted side chair.

This version of our South Yuba series, named for the river that runs south of our workshop, offers a dignified accent to any home or office. Though originally envisioned for placement around a dining table, the South Yuba Side Chair would make a handsome addition to an office waiting room or conference room.
