A variation on the Sandhill Chair. We used hand-carved mariposite from the foothills of the Sierra Nevada near our home to create this updated version of our original 1988 design. The stone seat and back of this dining chair have veins of pure quartz running through them and is lightly speckled with fools’ gold, offering a majestic touch to any office or home.
The hand-hammered iron from our classic Sandhill Chair forms the base of this chair, and the lumbar support of the curved mariposite backrest provides comfortable seating for hours of dining or entertaining. While heavy in weight, this chair is for that sculptural component in a space where art is the statement.
