This dining table was made from the Mahony Tree from the banks of the American River in Sacramento, CA. The giant tree was removed because of the damage being caused to the house’s foundation. We removed the tree in 2014. We air-dried the boards for 5 years, then put them in a dry kiln for 2 months and then finished the boards for this table in our own solar kiln. The wood is California walnut. The legs for the table are the cutoffs from the 20′ long original boards. We have three more of these boards in our kiln for sale.
