This dining table was made for the Smithsonian Craft Show that was cancelled. It has a 2 plank top of California walnut from Nancy Younger’s tree west of Woodland, CA. The boards are free of knots and it has a gentle curve live edge. The table available does not have the upturns at the edge because it has a live edge. We have not had a chance to photograph the top and only the last image here is of the actual piece. Photos will be made available. Contact us if interested. The table has a hand-forged steel base designed by Erickson Woodworking and smithed by Mike Route of Red Iron Forge. Hard durable finish of conversion varnish.

The base design allows for very free movement of legs under the table with no obstructions.
