Poonkinny Chair

A client asked us to design a table based on one he had seen in the Ming Dynasty collection at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. We then made the Poonkinny chair to go with it. Named after a plant native to the Coast Ranges of California where the original dining set resides, the Poonkinny Arm Chair is Tor’s personal favorite because of its extraordinarily comfortable fit.
