Short armed Poonkinny Desk Chair in Birdseye Maple This chair, inspired by a three-legged farm chair I saw in Hallingdal, Norway, was designed for Wim and Pauly van Muyden. Designed as a dining chair, it also works as an occasional chair or desk chair. It looks good made with a single wood, or with the seat in one kind of wood and the frame in another. Walnut and quilted maple blend wonderfully. Three museums have acquired the van Muyden Chair for their permanent collections. Cherry w/quilted maple seat, Walnut w/ quilted maple seat.
