The South Yuba Arm Chair is a dining and occasional chair version of our classic rocker. It works equally well in the living room, at the head of a table, or at a desk. The elegant sweep of the arm may appear effortless, but is the result of ten hours of careful handwork, sculpted with nothing more than a pencil for layout and one simple shaping tool.
This chair can be made with a wood or upholstered seat. One couple ordered a set of six maple chairs with one slat in dark walnut and the other five in maple. The walnut slats occupied a different position in the back of each chair, blending a tantalizing touch of chocolate to the maple's light syrup hues.
